Both my 16-year-old daughter and I had to have Dr. Ronny Taschner and Dr. Jennifer Taschner perform periodontic procedures on us in the past 12 months.

My daughter had to have a skin transplant from the roof of her mouth to cover the top of a front tooth that was partially exposing the root. Needless to say she was very scared. Dr. R. Taschner was so gentle and very thorough about how he would perform the procedure with no pain. She kept telling me she didn’t really need this procedure, her tooth looked fine. However, the procedure was not just for cosmetics, it was to prevent tooth decay. I told her to please trust me, since I knew she was in good hands. Not only did she give the doctor and his staff a “10”, she’s very proud of her smile now.

Then came my turn. Unexpectedly, my root cracked, causing an infection and deterioration of the bone. Dr. R. Taschner explained the tooth would have to be pulled and I’d have to wait for the bone to regenerate it’s own growth or have a bone transplant. I, too, was bothered by all of this unexpected dental work and any pain I may endure. The tooth was pulled 11/30/09 by Dr. J. Taschner (she was available before Dr. R.). I was hesitant for her to pull the tooth since I didn’t know her, but Dr. R. and staff assured me she was just as good. I’m really glad I did, because I now know two awesome periodontists. It also allowed me to get the tooth out quicker, stopping the deterioration of the bone and infectious pain.

After the bone healed (and it did grow back healthy), Dr. R. Taschner did the dental implant on 04/08/10. I have to say, both doctors earned a “10” in my book. I literally had no pain after the pull, or implant. As soon as the Novocain wore off, I went about doing what I normally do.

I have nothing but awesome comments for both of these doctors and the entire staff at Taschner Periodontics. They are gentle, professional, compassionate and thorough with their work.

PAIN FREE DENTISTRY – that is correct
I have been a patient at Taschner Periodontics for 10+ years.
I have had multiple procedures and I am still on a 6-month rotation.
In this time I have had contact with every employee in the office, starting with the front desk to the back room. I have sat in every dental chair in the office along the way.
What do I have to say – Every person is friendly, compassionate, caring and the care is second to none….yes, and PAIN FREE.

I believe, as I have lived it, if you enter into the world of dental woes with a positive attitude and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS, you too can experience PAIN FREE procedures.

The “before” state of my teeth and gums left me feeling helpless and hopeless. Post-treatment, Dr. Ronny Taschner and his expert team, have performed a miracle! The difference is undeniably impressive; I have teeth and gums that will last me my lifetime. Nobody enjoys seeing the dentist, right? But as soon as you walk through the door and experience the care and attention to detail that everybody in the practice gives, fear and apprehension disappear and you can’t wait to see the results! Many thanks!

I was surprised at how little discomfort there was in my grafts. I had both sides done. The service was fantastic!

A picture is worth a thousand words! Wish I would have done this sooner. It has saved my teeth and cosmetically improved my smile. Dr. Taschner and his staff are extremely kind and professional. Low anxiety and pain level experienced with this procedure. My teeth and gums are youthful and healthy.

Receding Gums Before Gum Grafts After Gum Grafts

Before I can begin to give my testimonial, I must first give you a little background about myself. I grew up with a family whose father served in the military for 20 years, which means our family moved every three years, living on military bases around the country, until I was 15 years old. During this period of time, I did not have very good experiences with dentists; however, it was not until I got older that I realized how bad they were (growing up, I wasn’t a regular visitor or fan of dentists. I would only visit when I needed to.). In 1999, (age 34), I found a general dentist that I trusted (understanding and caring). I actually began having regular checkups on my teeth (sometimes twice a year, which was not like me at all). During one of my visits, my general dentist determined that I needed to visit a periodontist and referred me to Dr. Jennifer Taschner (talk about terrified). The thought of visiting another dentist, knowing what it took to get me here, I was reluctant and afraid. I asked my general dentist if this was absolutely necessary and he advised that it was and reassured me that it would be alright (I thought sure, he was not the one changing dentists).

My first visit at Dr. Taschner’s office was emotional for me, but as soon as I walked in the office, the ladies at the front desk made me feel very comfortable. I was able to relax in the waiting area (until my name was called to the back office and my fear started all over again). Dr. Taschner’s assistant was very polite and funny – we hit it off right away (okay, so far so good, but she wasn’t Dr. Taschner). As soon as Dr. Jennifer Taschner walked in, I knew I would be alright. She is very kind and gentle. She explained everything in detail and to this day, I believe I have learned more about the importance of taking care of my teeth properly (i.e., flossing properly, use of the waterpik, etc). I never knew there were so many gadgets in dentistry (it has been fun – I never thought I would use that word and dentistry in the same sentence).

On my first visit to the periodontic office, my teeth were hurting to the point that I was waking up at night (obviously, that is what brought me here). When a person’s teeth hurt, you tend to hurt all over, which affects your whole mood (no sleep, grumpiness, etc. – trust me – I understand). I was not only worried and afraid of the dentist, but I was also concerned about the financial liability (my insurance doesn’t cover this and how can I afford to pay?). Well, my first visit didn’t take the pain in my teeth away, but it took away the worries about my financial concerns (they have a wonderful financial advisor, who will assist in this area). After my first visit with Dr. Taschner and the staff, I knew that I would be okay returning for a second visit.

I had scaling and root planing, surgery and Dr. Jenn was very attentive to my feelings. She made sure that I was comfortable and not in any type of pain during the process (the thought of the procedure was more terrifying than the surgery itself). Dr. Jenn cares about her patients; she is genuinely concerned about their well being and is very attentive to their feelings. The office staff always gave me a warm welcome and I believe that the Taschners and their staff are very professional and friendly. Since the surgery, I can walk around with confidence and a smile without pain (thank goodness!!). I now have found another dentist (which only makes two – at age 44) that I trust in my lifetime and I am very grateful to have had such a wonderful experience. Thank you, Dr. Jennifer Taschner and staff, for your kindness and professionalism.

I am very pleased with the result of my gum graft surgery performed by periodontist, Dr. Jennifer Taschner. My gum surgery result demonstrates the miraculous work of this very talented and capable periodontist.

Dr. Taschner patiently discussed proper brushing techniques and strategies to prevent me from repeating my aggressive brushing and to preserve my beautiful new gum grafting.

Personally speaking, Dr. Jennifer is a warm, caring and competent professional. She goes above and beyond to offer her patients exceptional treatment and the highest quality service.

Following my surgery, I now feel more confident when I smile. As a result, I am a happier person.

Thank you, Dr. Taschner!
