Jennifer, Expanded Functions Dental assistant

I’m originally from Cuba and raised in Miami, I relocated to Cape Coral six years ago and quickly grew to appreciate the Southwest Florida community that I am proud to call home.

My career in dentistry began in pediatric dentistry, where I spent three years developing strong clinical and patient-care skills while helping children feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits. I later expanded my experience in general dentistry for a year and a half, further strengthening my knowledge of comprehensive dental care. Today, I am proud to be a member of the team at Taschner Periodontics, where I am committed to providing exceptional patient experiences and supporting high-quality periodontal care.

As I continue to advance in the dental field, I am actively pursuing my goal of becoming a dental hygienist. I am passionate about ongoing education, professional growth, and helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and our dog, Thor. We enjoy visiting local beaches, exploring nature trails, and staying active in the gym.
